Original Dimensions: 14”x 17” Medium: Prismacolor pencil on Bristol board The hair didn't show up well after the scan was shrunken down, kind of looks like a black blob here but it's actually brown and detailed. Image This is a fairly romantic piece for me and not of my usual subjects or themes. It had appeared in my mind one night and I thought it was a lovely sad picture. It's not exactly as I had seen it however, in my mind it had the look of being a real scene but colour drenched yet at the same time washed out like an old and worn photograph, quite strange and beautiful colors really. There was no words or name on the grave stone and there was a single tear falling from his eye, also, as I could see much more detail on a larger scale of an image, the glass covering the picture of the girl in the locket was shattered.
