'Foresighted Concentration'

Size:30"X 60" Copyrights @ Artist: Sanjay Kulkarni Mobile: 9822279891 e-mail: [email protected] This painting depicts Arjuna...A brave mythical character of 'Mahabharata'. A great ancient warrior...fought the war for good and justice against the evil. He has a power of hitting the target at his will. Some times only by hearing the sound or by seeing the reflection, he could aim and hit correctly. There is 'Arjuna' in everybody of us. If we can foresee our aims, we can really hit the targets at our will. The need is to focus it, with foresighted concentration. A surreal image from the series of 'Positive Thoughts'

Beautiful symbolism and execution! By the way: Wasn't the hero Arjuna and his brothers married to the same woman according to the epic story in "Mahabharata"?

Artist Reply: Thank You X-Chel for your words of appreciation. Yes... he had married 'Droupadi', which by his mother's order became a wife of all the five brothers, afterwords... but to understand the logic in this tale, before being prejudiced about him, you need to understand the whole story of mahabharata... A great tale written ages back in sanskrit by " Shree Ved vyasa ". He was a very positive charactered person, along with all his brothers and his wife. But here, in this painting, I have used Arjuna as a man with 'Foresighted concentration', as per the Legend, he has speared the eye of a fish revolving above him by seeing it's reflection in the water beneath him. Every man has a bit of 'Arjuna' in him. If one can decide goals beforehand and is aiming for it, he can get to his goal for sure!
