Coat of Arms (detail)

The Sedlec Ossuary is a small chapel, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints in Sedlec, a suburb of Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic. The ossuary contains approximately 40,000 human skeletons which have been artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel.

Nice to know there can be art in death, but I thought we get to rest!

Artist Reply: Sure it's nice but get to rest? I believe death it's just another beginning for us. Check here (if you wish) for more morbid art: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=105656005&albumId=2420899
