Kurl

This is the first of 3 colored pencil drawings I did recently to try and get back on the horse of drawing since I cut off the tip of my right index finger almost 3 years back. This one I spent the most time on, and also is the only one I felt enough drive to draw a background for. I'm mostly happy with it but the perspective of the drawing it flat on the table changed when I framed it, (or held it straight up) so the legs and closer parts to me are much smaller then the head. Which bugs me but I still liked this one enough to frame it to keep me inspired to keep trying to redevelop my skill. (Not that it was ever abundant ;) ) This was photographed in a frame so the contrast has been increased to better show the drawing, although it did wash the color a bit.
