Very breathtaking Tami. The coloring is marvellous. The sense of movement is very nice. I agree with Shawna, your sense of horse-y anatomy, light and shadowing are very good (excellent!). :-)

I like the use of oil pastel on this piece, but might the shading gradations be a bit smooter? May I suggest using a neutral patel, such as an over coat of a transluscent pastel (not commonly found in color sets, but should be available at any comprehensive art store) to blend the colors for a smoother uniform appearance. Your equine anatomy and sense of light and shadow are very good.
