ENGRAVED MUZZLELOADER

This is an Illustration for a story in the outdoor magazine, Pennsylvania Game News, which is a Pennsylvania Game Commission monthly publication. It is a "pencil" on medium weight, hot press Crescent Illustration Board. German made Faber-Castell Drawing Pencils were used. The majority of the "pencil' was done with a #4 lead, while the remainder was darkened with a #6 and #8 leads. Total time to complete was 12 hours.

much looser treatment than others... i like it. heavy and bold . interesting how you record everything in photography and time the event. I would never think to do that.

WORTHY OF THE OLD MASTERS. THE DETAIL MAKES IT 3-DIMENTIONAL. THE SEPIA DOES NOT COME THROUGH ON MY COMPUTER. IT LOOKS LIKE A RICH BLACK AND WHITE IMAGE.
