What an amazing reflection!

Artist Reply: Thank you very much for your comment Pamela. Since this image is in my "PhotoShop" gallery, I have to admit using a Flaming Pear plug-in called "Flood" to create this effect. Glad you like it.

nice work - but your flags never 'fly', do they? no wind where you live? - i enjoy your work.

Artist Reply: It was a very warm summer day in Vermont. No breeze. I know, limp flags aren't very dynamic. Thanks for stopping to take a look.

I gather, because this is in a portfolio named Photoshop, that the reflection is the actual lighthouse duplicated and flipped and modified to look like a reflection on water. If so, nice work.

Artist Reply: Actually, it was even easier than that. Flaming Pear has some great plug-in filters for PhotoShop. This one is called "Flood." You place the water at the selected height, then determine the number and size of the ripples, etc. The filter figures out what the reflection should look like. Check them out. I believe they offer free trials. I've got a whole folder full of different plug-in filters. I try not to overdo special effects, but these are a lot of fun. Hay Bales and Rio 1850 in my PhotoShop portfolio were also made with FP filters.
