This is a photograph of a contemporary sculpture. The sculpture really brings the essence of Buddah alive here showing both bliss and grief on his face at the same time. The black and white conversion and post processing give it an ancient look.

Beautifully done, and I so agree with you that there are elements that lends it self to Black and White.
