The two figures are equal in beauty, in youth and even in wealth - they wear identical dresses and almost identical jewels. Are they sisters? They are at least from the same clan. They are equal in every way and in everything, except one thing: one holds a rose and can enjoy its beauty and its perfume, whilst the other holds merely the thorny rose stem.
