Mistress Of the Dark Art

The mouth of death is on it's way, going to kill in the light of day. Shrieks and cries fill the air. Acid rain runs down my hair. Burning away I dread to see..... the monster lives inside of me. Tares of skin fall to the floor. The monster roars blow up the doors. The monster steals my only hold. The hold of my body is in his control. I scream as a black fog covers me. There I wait for, sentries. Clawing my way to the light, I finally break free to a day so bright. I breathe the air and finally see, everywhere are dead bodies. The monster still stokes the night, waiting for a time that's right. Poem By Kelli Teal
