Of all my pencil drawings this one taught me the most about life. These are my grandparents who were separated for most of their married life and lived in different provinces. My grandmother, who I grew up with, passed away from Alzheimer's after a three year struggle at home with our family. I did my share of helping to care for her during that time and learned a lot about looking after those who can no longer care for themselves. My grandfather moved back home a couple years after my grandmother died, and passed away shortly after as well. This image was taken on one of the rare times they were able to visit each other.

Aww This is an absolutely lovely drawing of your grandparents, and such a sad story but I am glad they were able to meet again and you have captured this so well - Fantastic Work!
