Very beautiful depiction of this subject, Thom! My late father tried to keep religion and faith from me and my siblings when we were young. I broke out of that way of thinking when I was drafted and had a chance to be away from him. I know that I felt this way then. Your work seems to bring out a lot of emotion and memories in me.... mel

Powerful sophisticated image ,Thom...I wonder which kind of FAITH U mean in this work...the faith in god .I think any loss of faith, can be devastating.Faith is a great moving power to every purpose in life.i hope my english is understood well enough :-)) have a wonderful weekend.

Wow, all your art is so...GOOD! I'm awed beyond belief. Also, thanks for the comment on my pic, I'll try to add more 3D angles to my new pics

The emotion is evident in the subject as well as the context. I see a weathered soul in a gloomy world

aww thank you so much for your lovely comments! :) this is great work using pen. i find it hard to use pen and ink; prefer to work in closer detail using pencils.

You capture this impression perfectly.

laird hartley 10 Apr 2004

Sornfull, solumn and very alone asking why. Super expressionism! The mind split, and balance off center tells much. The indelible haze sets the mood of clouded confusion.

Francisco Rivera 06 Apr 2004

This one got my attention...mysterious piece of art...nice job.
