How did you do the sky? Was it painted or drawn? I like the effect.

Artist Reply: Hey Sherly, The sky is painted with vertical lines of acrylic on layers of gesso. The effect just like layering on clothes for winter is to let it dry then build up the paint. Thanks a lot for you observation! cheers
