Hagia Sofia

Hagia Sofia was built in 532 right afyer tha uprisal of Nika (win) by the money general Velisarius brought toJustinian from his victory against the Vandals.The church was of unprecedened splendor and size.It was served by at least 800 bishops, priests and deacons. When Costantinnople fell ,it turned into a mosque ,and now it has become a museum.
