I love the way your mind works. The objects are so precise and almost 3D like. You have a very unique tallent and one of a kind. I think I could spot your work anywhere and say, "that's an Alberto D'Assumpcao"!! Just awesome!
Alberto, all of your paintings I believe, expresse LOVE in the highest manifestation that pure spirit can be part of. On a purely physical level I also believe every brush/pen/pencil touch reveals how you must love your wife as a physical form and in her essence, pure spirit. Each one appears to me to be caressing her physical and spirit body. There are not many pictures you can say that about.
The green balls float through an orange landscape. Like Gainsborough, you succeed in having a cool color (like Blue Boy) in a warm background. I hope your show went well.
