You are going to meet your date's parents for the first time, the boss has just called you on the carpet or maybe you stayed out a little bit late with your buddies and there's your better half waiting for you at the door... You are in the 'Hot Seat.' A mixed media sculpture; an homage to a chair [thank you Du Champs]. In the literal sense, this is a 'Frigidaire' Hot Seat, complete with an electric burner, catch plate and wired with an electric cord. Made with found/manufactured objects; 4 coats of primer and 6 coats of appliance epoxy enamel [sanded every other coat] and an oak chair.
