Love your preference for black and white in this pic! Pure light and shade is self-sufficient.

Artist Reply: I think growing up with black & white television, and actually using black & white film and doing darkroom work in the old days, gives me (and other "veteran" photographers as well) an appreciation for the great possibilities in monochromatic images. Of course, you can get instant b&w with the computer, but being able to "see" the shot in b&w before you snap the shutter it is a real advantage. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my b&w work. Really glad you like it.
