This piece was done for the owner/photographer of this champion doberman named Kendall. It is 11 x 14 done in colored pencil. The back ground in water color.
Jennifer I realy like this one, I like how you left the back as suggested shapes....Keeping the details in the areas of interest...Showcaseing your rendering skills with the color pencils.
Thanks Becky!I am fairley new to watercolor pencil and colored pencil so I was proud of this piece.I'm going through a slump right now so your words are very encouraging.
Jennifer this piece is stunning... I thought if was a photo from the thumbnail. You not only capture his likeness but his personality ....adorable piece. This fellow looks alive and oozing with life and feeling. Wow - you got talent!

Colored pencil? Neat! It must be a watercolor pencil though? (or painted background?) I find him a little dark, but very well done!nira dabush 18 Sep 2004
