Artist Reply: Thankyou very much Jerrie, i must confess to be a bit stymied at first when i thought how do i paint air and i felt symbols would be just the thing , what may be hard to see here is that all four elements were painted side by side so when fitted together they run into one another creating a poetic comment from spirit to material with the symbol of man's destruction poking in at the end in Fire!
