I went here to paint that famous Taos church, but found this nearby yard more interesting. A matter of personal taste, I guess. Painted on site. Oil on caanvas

nice painting Betty, I went in December to photograph the Taos church but the snow storm kept me out, Very nice feeling you captured here..

Terrific... great portrayal of New Mexico. N.M. is one of my favorite spots and you have a feel for it . Do N.M paintings sell in your part of the U.S.?

This is a lovely little landscape, intimate and unpretentious. The yellow in the road contrasts nicely with the delicate purple shadows from the buildings and surrounding hills. By comparison, Louisiana is so GREEN.
