Four Moons

An image of a fairy in a quiet moment beneath the light of the four full moons.

The wings were inspired by those of the black-veined white butterfly that was native to the UK, but is now extinct in the British Isles. The pattern on her tunic was chosen as this butterfly favored fruit and orchards.

The original is up for auction on eBay.

Made with watercolors; 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
