Poppies and other wild flowers, growing on a local roundabout, close to home. The background and barn Owl placing the whole scene into a complete countryside location. Both the background and foreground was painted with a pallet knife, then finished off using brushes. 16x12 oil on canvas board. In the detail image I have reduced the colour strength so more detail can be seen.
