Beatiful lighting , skin tones and mood, and you really managed to keep it looking fluid and spontaneous , not and easy task . lovely.

Artist Reply: Hey, thanks. This was a hard one for me. This is my daughter, Hannah, and she is very complex. I appreciate the comment on the spontaneous aspect, because if it looks like it was, it was purely by accident. Thanks again.

Hannah is very beautiful and seems very introspective. I love your lighting and dark background as a counter point to the strong lighting. A very sound job and great judgement, my captain.

What a super portrait.........beautifully lit, so realistic with such great tones, colours and details...........you can feel the love for your daughter shining through this painting :o))

Artist Reply: Oh, Jacki, thank you for such a wonderful comment. I have to admit, I had a time "capturing" my daughter. I tweeked it forever before I actually had "her". Thanks again, Sue

Perfection in oil! Beautiful job!

Artist Reply: THanks Kristy, I had started a large one of Hannah (like the one I did of Matt) and had such a hard time with it I had to put it away and start with a smaller one. The positive comments are just what I needed to hear about this painting. THanks again, sue
