Joly from Monkey World

This is Joly. She was born at Moscow zoo but was rejected by her mother, so the keepers there looked after her for the first eight months of her life. She was then sent to Monkey World so she could grow up with her own kind. I love her face, she looks so cheeky:) I visited Monkey World not long after I did these drawings with my husband and son. It was fantastic, we got so close to the orangutans. My son had a wonderful experience with one of the very young orangs, Lingga, who kept kissing him through a viewing window, lol. I got some terrific photos and I got it on film too so we can treasure that day for a long time to come. Well worth a visit, going back every year now, they're fascinating. Thanks for having a look, Joanne:)
