ur makin the statements dude

Artist Reply: Yeah thas me Statement Dude Americana - I'm afraid to comment on real international news - don't want to stir up any riots without high-level security - Ha!!! This is so funny about putting into place these windmills but not allowing transmission lines in some parts of the country and the staggering expense of being the power in from the middle of nowhere - and don't even get me started on the 5-million people who die per year from mosquito-born disease that was virtually wiped out by DDT which contrary to Rachel whatshername does good and not harm - Hey! I said don't get me started on that one - bummer!! Ha! Thanks for the visit CGZ ~:0)

Texas? isnt that where George Bush came from and mismanaged the oil too?

Artist Reply: Ha! Learning curve - we saw a feral cat out in the boat-house - that darn G.W.!!! He's into everything - the blinking light down in the Alice got stuck too - dang G.W.!! He must have a console like the Wizard of Oz to make so much mischief - hey! the dog's barking!! What's G.W. up to now??? - Ha! ~:0)

Hilarious!

Artist Reply: Laugh... Ted I'd thought I'd gone to Ethiopia - whatta sight to behold - didn't make a sound either, 'cept for the occasional dropping bolder - Ha!! Hope no one steals this pic from me, but I'll probably see it in someone else's syndication before long - happened before, even when I cover 'em with copyrights - doesn't matter I guess, but me banker takes no excuses, eh? Ha! Onya-me-hero ~:0)

Infrastructure Now there is a good word Chas I don't know that they ever get that down pat !!!

Artist Reply: So true Lore - thas why I think it'd be better to just have me own electrical windmill and sell off the excess to me co-op - Ha!

thea walstra 08 Aug 2008

Yes, very much "bummer"Chas! This is also very much going on in the very crowdy The Netherlands".

Artist Reply: Yeah know what you mean Thea - some weeks ago I was touring West Texas - yeee haaa - and spent some time with those behemoths - very big, very cool machines - whole farms of them across the wastelands there - sadly they need to spend a vast fortune on new electrical transmission lines to get the NRG to big cities like Dallas, San Antonio, Houston and little ol' Austin - seems someone forgot the infrastructure necessary to make 'em work as a true supplement - would still like a smaller one out at my own place - it would be fun ~:0)

Steve Farr 08 Aug 2008

Amazing, Chas!! Luv the title, too!! ~S

Artist Reply: Yeah Steve - I get to see these things up close quite often - I like the idea, would love to have one of me own, but they don't work when the wind isn't blowing or when it's blowing so hard it would damage them (so they automatically feather the props so they stop) - as a result the conventional generating plants have to be on-line all the time to back them up anyway - let's face it - if France gets about 70% of its NRG safely from nuclear (which is clean) then we should be ashamed not to do the same - Hey! Steve, know what I found out the other day about nuclear waste? You coulda knocked me over wif a feather - it can be recycled back into productive NRG rods and all the hubbub over storing the stuff - there's only about a basket-ball court and stands-worth of the stuff in the whole of the West... let's recycle the stuff rather than bury it! Woo-Hoo!! Western ingenuity!!! Yeeee haaaa ~:0)
