The owner of the dog wrote: "I had viewed your other portraits of daogs and knew they were good. I didn’t realize just how good, not knowing the dogs. Having know and loved this big old boy for almost 15 years, I can tell you your talent is exceotional as is this painting. I am honored and touched by this gesture of friendship. The way you rendered this, catching the essence of my beloved Chaos, right down to catching the blue tint in his very black shiny coat. Again, I thank you so much for the gesture and the reminders.
