Done as a house warming gift, I started a pencil drawing but I may want to keep that for myself. This one was done in about 3 hrs on Saturday. My first Oil painting! My son suggested I put the boat in there, which helped the lake stand out better. Jul 08

The boat's a really sweet idea. I think it could be rendered a little more realistically, to help it blend more with the scene, but besides that tiny flaw this is perfect, again. The trees are my favourite this time, they're just so well done. That on the left. I don't know why, but that's the best. That one there. I like that tree. Hehehe. =P Anyway, as I said before, this is beautifully painted. Lovely colour and brush work - and detail on the mountain is stunning. Keep it up, for sure!
