Waves breaking on the rocks at the North end of Bamburgh Beach, with the waters of the North Sea and Lindisfarne (Holy Island), Island, Village and Castle providing the back drop. This part of the Northumbrian Coastline is officially recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty and it's not difficult to see why.
