My son brought me these snail shells on Saturday. I put them on the window ledge. Imagine my surprise when one of them got up and winked at me over the washing up. We call him Brian. Since discovering that Brian was a live snail and not just an empty shell, he has been released back into the wild where he can catch up with his friends Dougal, Florence, Ermintrude, Dylan, and Zebedee.

"Bryan!??" said the train. "Molluscs don't have names." "Time for bed." said Zebedee. I think that's an accurate quotation.Hadyn Lassiter 23 Jul 2008

lol- very cool capture and memory - I believe it is the little things in life that mean the most especially gifts from kids - no matter what - they are given unconditionally! Fantastic macro!Sharon Gonzalez 03 Jul 2008
