This oil portrait of my great grandmother is painted on wood and the reference photo is a heirloom black & white photo. I used my favorite colors to paint the portrait as well as included a lightfilled stained glass window for the background to synbolize possible church windows. The book could be a bible and the bench could be a kneeler. The painting measures 28" x 21"
