My family was involved in the movie business--we went on vacation with Sunset Carson..western cowboy actor hero---and your pick does resemble him...

Artist Reply: Niiiiceee lol, i just looked up Sunset Carson, very cool Persona he had! Great Memories, I bet! I do see a Resemblance; i felt Dashing Dan would be a mix of something like Sunset Carson with a bit of Clark Gable's Rhett from "Gone with the Wind" per his tiny mustache, and all the star studded showmanship of a traveling stunt-cowboy waltzing out of a mobile dressing-room trailer with his name on a star. :D
