As we all know, this is the typical perspective from a camera phone. But what caught my eye and prompted me to do this piece was the way the flash of the camera phone left the picture in an almost complete silhouette yet just enough distinguishing features of this young womans face. And...as an added bonus, captured her eyes beautifully. The challenge for me was to capture the silhouette while keeping the piece as realistic as possible.
