UPDATE: This piece was chosen to be exhibited at the Colored Pencil Society of America's 8-state regional, bi-annual "Midwest Color 2008" Exhibition in Dearborn, MI from Sept. 25 through Nov. 1, 2008. ~ I was attempting to create the illusion of a sewn fabric with native beaded accents in this piece. Although the minute stitching details are all but lost and the colors faded in a low-res file like this,I had fun creating the illusion of fabric and beads. Hope you enjoy it! Original - 11"x14" on white paper.
