Dunnydeer And Standing Stone

The remains of a stone circle in the foreground and the remains of a castle on the site of a hill fort at Dunnydeer with Bennachie to the right of the picture. Bennachie is believed to be Mont Grampus, named by the Roman Legions that ventured this far North and gives the Grampian Mountains and region their name.

what a grand but yet plan shot of the landscape such an interesting story line nice work

Artist Reply: Thank you Gerry, I think having a short story line can add to the photograph and try when possible to include a little something. It's something I might try to develop a little more. Regards Andy S
