BOB MARLEY (1945-1981)
"...Olga, you don't just paint people, you paint their souls!"

My neighbor, a big fan of Bob Marley, asked me to paint this legend Jamaican Reggie musician. Marley was one of the most charismatic and challenging music performers of our time.
Marley died nearly thirty years ago, but remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited for helping spread Jamaican music to the worldwide audience.
I tried to capture his personality and the way he was… colorful and excellent! The end result is very expressive.
click on the arrow to hear his evocative music that stretches back over nearly two decades and still remains timeless and universal.

Bob Marley captured professionally. Brilliant! Bob Marley pointed at the BMW sportscar, and said "See that BMW! That stands for Bob Marley and the Walers!"shane mccullough 27 Jul 2010
