Meet MiekoSahn! He is a 10 month old Akita/Great Dane. He's enormous weighing in at 90lbs already. He outweighs Bailey by a full 10 pounds. That's okay though..Bailey and he are slowly getting so they like each other and are actually sleeping in the same bed tonight. We have been totally impressed. They both deserve big treats (They got steak at dinner tonight) for being very adaptable and versatile animals. Big Kudos to them..neither has ever been in a more than one dog family except when they were first born. SO, this is a true accomplishment for both and we are really proud of them. Mieko is originally a shelter rescue that they misjudged the size of. He went from a roly poly little pup to a 90lb monster that was living in a trailer with four kids. The poor lady was overwhelmed to say the least. He's a great dog but he grew too fast for her. We got him soon as we saw his ad. He came home on first meeting and we are currently making history as Bailey at 10 years old has decided that its okay for a young male pup to sleep with him in his bed basically. For Bailey, accepting any other dog seemed really remote but he really likes big pups we found out. This one has the potential that Bailey did at his age and we look forward to bringing it out!
