Goddess Isis

Isis is a Goddess in Ancient Egyptian mythology,her name means 'female of throne', or ' Queen of the throne' To the Greeks she was known as Demeter , to the Romans as Ceres .
Isis is referred to as "The Mother of All Goddesses" and in egyptian myhtology was celebrated as the ideal mother, wife she is also known as a great ruler and magician.
She was sister and wife to Osiris and mother of Horus.Ancient Egyptians believed that the Nile flooded every year because of her tears of sorrow for her dead husband, Osiris.
