Well, this is the very first self portrait I've ever done realistically (I have done some cartoon ones before - but its not the same). I'm quite happy with how this turned out. Reference photo was taken by my sister while my little JRT and I were practicing agility. 8"x10" graphite pencil on Strathmore Bristol paper. Julie Deans 2008

Wonderful work and nicely composed reference photo taken by your sister. Agility good for you guys, always have wanted to try that with my borzoi, not competitivly of course.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much. I love having my sister around to take photos. She's got some good ones of us running the courses. You should try agility out - it's a blast!! I would have never imagined competing, but now my little JRT has four agility titles, and going for more!! It's a great sport!
