Artist Reply: Thanks, Warren. Northern Michigan has a lot of beautiful waterfalls. Bring your cameras and come. This particular waterfall is actually manmade. It is still very beautiful.

Artist Reply: Thank you, Dianne, I can still remember the sound of the waterfall. After taking numerous pictures, my 2 friends and I set our easels up for an afternoon of painting. While none of us completed the paintings there, we got a good start, and I wound up doing most of mine with a palette knife.
