Marbles are like minature glass world's that children collected and traded. They were prized possessions and included Catseyes and fondly called "doogies". Many are vintage art pieces in their own little world. A taste of time gone by. 11"x17" pastel on textured Strathmore paper.

Hi Sandra, what a lovely painting you have made of these marbles. I have often thought this too when I saw my daughter's marbles, they are really little pieces of art. :)Julie Mayser 27 May 2008
