Hands

Well, what i was going for was a more religious meaning. I.e. the apple represents the original sin and it is up to the viewer to decide whether the hands are giving (this is the virtue, charity) or whether the hands are taking, grabbing almost (this is the sin, greet which is the contradictory sin to the virtue, charity). I enjoyed working on this piece as i had never worked with pen and ink before apart from a little experimentation. Apart from a minor disfigurement of the hands, i thought the whole effect was quite successful. This was my mock exam for my art project and was then completed for coursework.

Nice tonal features and the green is really brought out by the brown.
