Here are some of my thoughts when I look at this painting: expectancy as a youth looks to the future, anticipation of what lies ahead, captivated by what she sees on the horizon of life. We were on Captiva Island, Florida this past summer where I took this reference photo of my middle daughter. We shopped all around earlier that week because she wanted her picture taken on the beach in a long flowing skirt. It measures 13x17.
