Thank you so much for all your nice words of encouragement, your emails and cards after I strained both of my ankles and fractured my left leg.( (A miss step in my garden!)
Nevertheless I flew to Holland to celebrate the 80th birthday of my father-in-law.
I'm doing much better now and this week I started my heavy duty physiotherapy program 3x a week to get these legs working again!
I'm still not able to get down to my studio in my basement to paint. Stairs are the less favorites to walk these days.

Hi Olga......Better LATE then NEVER......I always say ! I'm so sorry to hear about your accident......I know how you feel 'cause I had a double compound fracture of my Tibia and Fibula bones of my right leg..... Dear Olga...I didn't know you had been hurt and I am so sorry!! That could be me except it was my right ankle that was broken and left ankle sprained!!! Your boot is prettier than mine!!! :) Did you have surgery?? The best is to come...when you finally get that boot and splint off and they say that you can't shave your legs for several more days (the hair is touching the floor by then), and the dead skin comes off in sheets!!! One of those people unable to recognize you're -perhaps- a mediocre artist. Coward comments behind a mask seems the unique way you can improve your art. Olga is PERMANENTLY on the Top Ten because she is one of the MOST AMAZING AND QUALIFIED artists here. Accept it and try to improve your art by your own!. About the quality of the shot, I think you don't understand how the things work here: As an artists community, the artworks are fundamental but the artists' lives as well. At least for most of us. While I feel for this womans injuries, there is nothing artistic about this photo at all. Proving once again that the images in the Top Ten is nothing but a popularity contest. Dear Olga, I am very sorry to hear of your misfortune it must be awful to be without the use of your two beautiful legs. I am an inveterate walker and several times a day I get out with my dog Sammy and we walk all around our fairly large graveyard where Sammy chases rabbit and I, with my head in the clouds, chase ideas.
