AND.. My parents that so much wished he'll come back home, bought then a dog ( knowing how much he love dogs ) and called the dog Kyoto..so that my brother will come back home... :-)... gold leaf design in the backgroun works very well with the black upong gold foreground. Small? in stature the size of the standing figure nonetheless gives it a unique air compared to the traditional seated buddha.
