Roseburg Red

This is a commemorative portrait of my friend’s Rooster. Oil Pastel 8 x 10 inch on black paper. This rooster is now famous in Roseburg, as he was killed by a neighbor, who then sued my friend for damages from the crowing rooster. He lost, and now will have to pay all of her court costs ($50,000). The moral of the story being, don’t move to the country if you don’t want to wake up at dawn with the chickens!
