This is a portrait of Nora. She won the NBC "Adoption Mom" or "Non-mom Mom" category. She is the president of an orphanage in Haiti. A few years ago, several artists in our area did portraits of some of the children in this orphanage to be auctioned at our local art museam to raise funds for the orphanage. This portrait is of Nora and her husband. I did this portrait of her last week, in anticipation of her winning!
