Gap of Dunloe, Ireland

This is a 2 lane road. It was challenging when a car came around the mountain, one or the other had to keep backing up until somebody could get through. This is part of my Ireland vacation/holiday series. It's called the Gap of Dunloe Ireland

Artist Reply: The fact that I'm alive is a miracle, I'm afraid of heights, but I wanted to see my anchestrial home once, and Killarney area was my roots.

Hi Melody...i spent much time in the gap! I drove every morning at 6 into this gap....it was one of the most powerfull places i ever saw! nobody was there.just me, the hills, the mystic lake and my coffee.....i did this for 2 weeks. every morning...what for a great life to wake up with nature like this. Love M*

Artist Reply: Madeleine, we are kindred spirits then. A person can see these pictures and few the awe of the place, but being there, with the smells, and the wind. I can see why people would not want to leave this place. It slows the body ticker right down, you are completely at rest. (Except for the driving), that did not rest me.
