Duck on a Roof

A giant yellow duck was placed lately on the roof of Tel-Aviv City Hall as part of Tel-Aviv 100th birthday celebrations. It was the idea of the late artist and cartoonist Dudu Geva. Geva was quoted as saying. "City Hall is a lost cause. If a giant duck is placed on the roof, everything will be turned upside down. The idea is to bring joy to the people's hearts and to make art a part of daily life". ***************************** The photos were taken on April 29, 2008.
