What a Dear!

This sweet little Black Tailed Deer was grazing just off the highway. The male Black-Tail, each year loses his antlers, but each spring will grow a new set. These Deer can live in the wild up to 10 years, up to 22 years in captivity. There favorite food of choice is the sweet leaves and shoots of the blackberry bush. Taken in Aldergrove, B.C.
