Prayer's Sun

Photo taken at Chavat - Habaron, Ramat - Hanadiv, Israel. Mars, 15, 08. This is a collective prayer of positive thinking. I'm here on this site few years, almost on daily base, at least most of the time. Those of us, who spent these years together, has some kind of bond / connection between us. We're in some way part of huge artists family... To me very much like a big neighborhood or international town of artists. Even though, all that time, that I'm here, I got familiar with a lot of artists, yet not with all. Some artists were more dominant in my portfolio, the same as I were with them. To my personal opinion there's some kind of human responsibility to one another, and most of us acknowledge this fact, I believe. The responsibility is by our words , or works to encourage creation at all levels. As we all know by now, it's usually a friendly site. Since it's of course a free site, people come and go, according to feeling, time, other things on the agenda. Sometimes we know reason, of people to disappear from the site, but not always. AND ..Of course I find it natural to do a change and also take a break from the site from time to time...... YET, I can't help myself thinking at times, of artists, that from one reason or another, not with us at a specific moment,or more then the moment. It's quite some time, that I'm a bit worried for one artist a very talented and responsible artist, a true loving soul. Actually I was worried for more then one artist lately. So, today I decided to post here a collective prayer for those we know, for those we met here on the site, and from their reasons are not with us at the moment. I send all my positive thinking, to those maybe need it. With ALL my LOVE. Copyrights (c) Nira Dabush

There is nothing wrong in moving on from a certain site if life calls you to a different path. It can be positive and healthy thing. For some it is necessary to shed the old and renew themselves as it is positive for others to remain.

Artist Reply: Dear Anonymous guest. I agree totally with what you say here. Many artists are on temporary base here...and I can't promise to be here , myself forever on daily base , until I'm 120 years of age. This is not a critic to those chose a different path. The stay here, is definitely a choice, not a must. Yet... If you read my reply below to Maria, you may understand me better... thanks for your visit.... wishing you to be found at the right path for you. Sending positive thoughts your way, Nira

Nira : Beautiful shot as always !!! Next your little prayer to the left:I feel like you do,I always thought I was a bit soft ,is it only me that feels this way, especially when you dont see a firmiliar name in a while and you wonder are they alright, sick, gone on holidays, taking a break from the site or maybe artist block. So I am so glad you feel this way too !!You are right it is like an artist family.I too belong to loads of online galleries, sometimes meeting old buddies from here, which makes me smile to see there names, even though I never meet these people.Even though sometimes I get artists block,I like to come here and check how my family are doing and support them by leaving a comment.Sometimes, I get e-mails from artists who say "haven't seen you for a while are you ok? ,Nice to know they care!!!!!!!! Of all the online galleries this is my favourite Family.Sorry I was so long winded, but I am glad you shared that and really touched me !!!God bless Nira from far away Israel but yet you are right here with me !!!!!xxxx

Artist Reply: Good evening, Maria. I don't think it's only YOU & ME... But not ALL are like us. What I say here, does not say that we, who maybe care more ... just a maybe... or soft more then others, are better then others, or vice versa. And no one can say to no one, what's right or wrong also, about the staying, or not staying here. It's not a MUST, It's a free site , as I wrote in my info... and it is a choice, to be here or not. From reasons of time mostly, I made my " virtual main gallery/ home " here. At least this is the place , I talk mostly on the internet. I can talk about how I see my stay here. Since I know MANY people are following my way here daily, since Aug 04. I have some kind of BASIC responsibility to them... what I mean, is if from any reason, I know that I will not be able to be here, or found via mail, I will post a message, on my portfolio, or my blog, or even send a collective e.mail to my AW list of friends. Especially, if I know I'll not be on the site, more then a week. But this is me... I would expect an artist know, he/she will not be more then few weeks at the site, or would like to leave the site, to do the same, post something ...I don't think, such artist must explain the whys, even... but I see it as a must to inform of a change, to your friends... From the VERY SIMPLE Reason, that the friends this artist made here, may REALLY worry for his/her health...True that not all, would care, or think... but some might, such as you and me, and more. Of - course, I know... not all will agree with me, but then again..We all different people, and have our own opinion of how things should be like for each of us. And I'm not here to preach , Maria...but to send positive thoughts for those just maybe...maybe not need our positive thinking. Perhaps some of our friends who left without a note, are sick...these were my thoughts... We saw here people dying quite surprisingly, people very sick, yes some of our good friends. And I know, most people are busy with their own lives, and not occupied by worries for far away friends too much. I'm very busy and occupied myself..VERY..Yet, I find this as a must to do, and say, because that's what my heart felt like doing. God bless you too , Maria... Thank you... perhaps you live far away, yet the internet is such a small world :-) xxxx Nira
